The 225LR offers sportboat performance and styling with the roominess of a deck boat. A large, integrated swim platform and removable cushions lend way to a step-thru entryway that makes this boat perfect for your favorite watersports activities. The 225LR is packed with amenities, seats up to 10 people, and features a full fiberglass liner for easy cleanup. The Stingray 225LR has the builder's Z-Plane hull which actually ?steps? inward toward the centerline in three stages. The horizontal planes give lift without the second surface which causes drag. Most boats in this class have V-bottoms with strakes that give the boat lift with their horizontal surface, but they also have a vertical surface which serves little useful purpose and adds drag.
